All suffering comes from thought
All suffering comes from thought
All suffering arises from thought. It is not life itself that causes pain, but the mind’s interpretation of it. A situation is simply what is, but the moment thought interferes judging, resisting, comparing - suffering begins. The mind continuously weaves stories of “what should be” and “what should not be,” creating an inner conflict that becomes your pain.
When thought quiets, suffering ceases instantly. In that silence, there is only pure experience - free from labels, free from struggle. You see life as it is, and that seeing is freedom. Then even challenges are no longer suffering, for they are met in awareness, not resistance. In that sacred space beyond thought, the Divine reveals itself as peace, love, and unbroken joy. Let’s pray to Sri Ammabhagavan to understand that suffering comes from thoughts.
